Hi, pple!
Going to HKG for a couple of days for business, and may be able to shop around for Pentax lenses and flashes. Anyone knows where to get good stuff for our Pentax cameras? Mongkok? |

Where is 2 and 3? Any prominent building? Can these be found on the tourist map? Are they near any MTR? Thanks Last edited by airconvent; 29th October 2006 at 12:40 PM. |

And I'm sure you can find the FA50/1.4 over there, the price should be around S$330 to 350. Good luck. |

Nooooo..!!!! Wing Seng and Man Sing has gone bananas with their inventory control lately.. their prices are fluctuates like mad and some things are much more expensive than in Singapore, so shop carefully! Kowloon Photo Service is the shop I go to all the time and I have bought tons of stuff from them. KPS is located in Jordan, Kowloon.

So if the lens I buy from HK only have waranty card for China and HK, I still can get servicing here in SG? And for lenses, what kind of defect can it have that is covered by warranty. If no warranty still can service? At what cost? ![]() |

Reviving this again....heh heh
Are there any updates as to where you can get lower priced Pentax stuff in Hong Kong or even Shenzhen? Parchio mentioned these 3 in Hong Kong 1. Foto Co, Hung Hom Plaza. 2. Man Shing or Wing Sing Photo Supplies Co. 3. Tin Cheong Photo Supplies Ltd. What are their addressess? So from the threads, I can confirm the warranty of stuff bought in Hong Kong and China will be honoured by Shriro? How about Tamron stuff? Also, my colleague is going to Japan. Are Pentax stuff cheaper there? I am thinking of troubling him to buy an item but not sure if he has the luggage "bandwidth"..heh heh |

Most shops there will replace the japanese warranty card with Pentax international warranty card. Not sure about Tamron, the 17-50/2.8 for Pentax mount was not available as of last week... |

I already have the Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 Macro... I asked him to check out the Tamron 18-250 for me. Anyone has any answer as to the address for the Hong Kong shops? ![]() ![]() |
