I will pick pic #2 if you ask me to do so. Best among the rest.

Too much space on the left hand side.

Great closeup. Handheld? Flash used?

Looks as though you don't have problems getting a sharp picture, can see lots of details.

Now you might want to concentrate on exposure and composition for future shots. Alot of the shots have severely blown highlights, and composition wise very centre oriented and tightly cropped.

thanks mr jason- will keep on shooting and learning!!
by the way, how to eradicate those problematic blown highlights?

Can consider lowering your flash exposure compensation, if the problem is cause by over flash.

Alternatively don't shoot at the times of the day that the sun is directly overhead (noon plus and minus 2 - 3 hours), because the direct sun, especially on flat surfaces like leaves where it 'reflects', in combination with flash, will cause the blown highlights.

i have attempted to lower the flash EV in a few shots but end out having underexposed pics and you are right, mr jason, i shot those pics at about 11-12pm today, so i think i have to avoid shooting within the time you mentioned.

thanks a million
