Can u tell us the picture setting and where this photo is taken. I think your sunbird is nicely exposed. Good composition too!

Thanks for the comments. Yes it is taken at SBG. Sorry it is not Cannon.. . The details are:

Fuji S2Pro, Nikkor AFS 500mm, using one leg of tripod as monopod, Aperture priority, MF, Matrix metering, ISO 400, 1/60, f8, fill-in flash -1, taken in a shady area at about 11am.

Cheers

Sir Ivor,

Just practice lor. Anyway I believe that sometimes luck also count. I took about more than 80 pics without setting the tripod and of which about only 10 turn up ok, without any camera shake.

Yes very nice! Carry on improving Hope you like your new lens. by the way, is it an AF-S II or the older AF-S?

by the way, if you don't like the existing foot of the 500 f/4 AF-S, Wimberley sells a replacement foot.

Thanks erwinx, its nice to receive compilments from experts like you.

I am using the AF-S II. Yes in fact I think the foot at present is rather long and I suspect it does contribute to some vibrations, the guys at Cathay will be bringing in the Wimberley replacement foot for this lens.

Once again thank you

Cheers
