Default Do you change the White Balance?

Hi Guys,

Would like to know whether you guys change the WB setting according to the light source?
Maybe we can list down some setting which is best for certain light source.

Occasionally when I can determine the light condition properly.

But if I'm not getting the colour I want properly, then I'll shoot with Auto and in RAW (gives me the advantage of changing the colour balance later to my desire)

Sorry, is there a tungsten? Are you referring to incandescent. I try to navigate the menu, but can't find it. How about resturant lighting. Those warm lights.

dun get fix to particular WB, just shoot with a few settings, see which one get your fancy more. Cloudy used gives u warmer feel, if you want that indoor you can use it too.

Do not get restricted to the particular rigid setting. WB used correctly is a great colour filter.

If you are afraid, shoot like me, Raw + Jpeg. When I am too lazy to process I use the jpeg, else I play around with the Raw, adjust the WB accordingly.

Interesting. Is there a dedicated function for WB with the popular photo editing software?
Picture project can do that?

hmm..do u guys think its necessary to use preset WB? I mean using those expodisc or zerocs white balance filter to set the WB so that it will be more accurate.

1. How many of u guys use this? or u just depend on the camera's various WB?

2. How u all find Nikon's AWB? Issit accurate?

I use daylight settings most of the time, even for night, flash, whatever.
