great posing of the subject, nice light green backgrounds. Also, full marks for breaking new ground and shooting something other than plain tigers

Wah. U got a lot of insects/butterflies that I have not seen b4. Guess I am not observant enough when I am there. Anyway good capture of the butterflies. I like the composition of the third shot though it was not at its natural habitat.

Megaweb,
Very nice blurred background. I can never get such nicely blurred background with digicam.

The 1st photo is a male Baron (Euthalia aconthea gurda). Horsfield's Baron is a forest butterfly so you will not find it at AH though we would love to have it there.
The Green Baron (E. adonia) you shot is a female. Both are very shy and rare butterflies. They feed on fruits so you will not find them on the Lantanas at AH

The 1st series is simply perfect, especially the background.
However, in the 2nd series, the black background patch beside the wings on the 3rd shots and the 2 red background patches beside the wings in the 4th shot of the 2nd series marred the otherwise perfect shots.

Whatever the case I always admire and wish I could even shoot 20% as well as megaweb.

Thanks for the wonderful pics, they are always a sorce of inspiration for me.

Cheers

Not very easy to tell unless you have seen many of them
The males are more common and are usually darker. They have sharper forewings and smaller white spots.
