These are just snapshots. I think it would be better if you focused on one subject in the first photo. The tree and the building are both fighting for attention. As for the second photo, straightening the horizon in Photoshop (or iPhoto, Picasa...) would help.

Way too messy for pic 1. Exposure is too low for pic 2.
