Default Photo Montage

hi guys,
i think nowadays there are many people who play their wedding photos on 19' LCD screens before their dinner or watever.... just wanna ask, wat software do you guys use for doing photo montage like this? is there any drag and drop freeware from the web that offers cool montages?

also usually when i do photo montage, i'll do using premiere and ae all that but i'll export to a 720 by 576 framesize.. this is good for TV or dvd player all that BUT if wanna play on laptop output to LCD screen as I mentioned, the resolution sure kena one... but if i were to increase the resolution in premiere or ae, the file size lagi big... wat other options do i have?

also anyone got any resources to do photo montage creatively? rather than throw everything in premiere and use all their transitions...

u can try using picasa slideshow... its quite simple to setup... simple transitions.

i find that without rendering, most images appear sharper and better quality then rendered to dvd, since the source is definitely clearer, and during actual day, i doubt anybody would have time to do rendering to dvd. most would be doing on preview. a fast processor and some ram buffer help... and do off the screen saver & power saver.

You can try out 3d album, its will generate video slideshows based on your photos. Quite useful for actual day express photo video shows.

cheers!

Check my photo montage

I use final cut pro on this one. Everything is in it. With final cut pro hd, you can choose from dv format to hd resolutions (16:9 etc.)

Pro Show Gold is my choice. Simple and easy to use. Most importantly it gets the job done.

Ur montage is cool. Lot of work.
But some customer cannot accept such a fast cut editing.
Images have not register in the brain and its gone already....

think this is subjective lor.. some people.. especially younger one, those rock one, and those fun loving type will like this kind of MTV styles.. personally i find too fast to register the images too.. but my son say ok lay..

some people like fast and impact cut, some like slow and soft touch..

but it is very well done.. just wonder the time and effort spends worth the profit or not
