Will SIGMA EF-500 DG Super works with Fuji S9500?
S9500 trigger voltage is 400V Sigma EF-500 trigger voltage is 5.9V Will this combination work? Or is S9500 too high for Sigma EF-500? Thanks.

U only worry if the Flash's trigger voltage is greater than wat the camera can take.. so in this case the voltage is not a problem.
The Sigma should work with the S9500 in Manual mode since cannot TTL.. I would suggest u get a used Nikon SB-28 instead cos it will allow u to use the flash in Auto (and Manual) mode.. ![]() |

The reason I'm considering the Sigma is because it'll work with Pentax K100D & K10D. I'm considering an upgrade after the K10D is released. Thanks again

Yes, come over to the Pentax camp..
Incidentally, i am a Pentax *ist DL and Sigma EF-500 DG user.. But personally I find the Sigma EF-500 DG sometimes less than accurate on TTL mode.. so maybe the Pentax flashes are better.. but I cannot afford.. ![]() |
