lovely shots.. I love #9... are you on a package tour?
by the way, did you use a polarizer for your shots? seems like alot of glare...

I went on a package tour.
Yes I did use a polariser. But even a polariser doesn't help if the light from the sun is coming from the wrong direction. Also at the kind of attitudes at Shangrila (> 3,000m), the sunlight can be really strong when it is sunny and glare is unavoidable.

looks like sunglasses is on all the time during the trip... i understand how is it like when the sunlight is at unfriendly position.. thanks for sharing..great stuffs..

Must bring along sun-block moisturisers also. The air in many parts of Yunnan is very dry and is very easy to get sun-burned as well. Otherwise, will come back black black like me.

I have found after 3 trips to China that autumn is usually a very safe season to go to China. Another other season could be too wet, too dusty, too cloudy, too hot, too cold, too dangerous (due to slippery roads, land slides, etc) and so on....
