Thread: Avoiding Primes

    Default Avoiding Primes

Nope, I'm not talking about lenses this time. Been doing lots of editing tonight (using Adobe Raw converter) and realise that I never like to use prime numbers for any of the settings. In fact, I don't like to use odd numbers unless they are multiples of five.

Anyone else do this or is it just me?

Hey! I brought this up amongst some friends some time back, and I realised I wasn't the only one with this weird habit. No so much about PP settings but setting the TV volume!

    8, 10, 12, not 14, but 15!

    Meeee tooo...

But I dun believe I'm the only 1 in the world to do that.
Usually in multiples of 5 or 0.5.

Even setting the TV volume. either 20, 25 or 30.

    .

But the funny thing is I'm not those who keep my room neat & tidy..

maybe "pattern" is a more general term.

this term "Numerical Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder" i read it in some maths book, so might be non-medically proven
