My Trip to South Western Australia

Hi All,
I just came back from Perth a couple of weeks ago. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Although the weather is not always favourable, it has been great. I took the clockwise route starting from Perth > Albany > Denmark > Pemberton > Margaret River Region > Busselton > back to Perth. I believe some of the bros here took this route too. Anyway below are some of my photo of my trip. Hope you guys like it. C&C are welcome.

1. Super windy and rainy morning at Albany. Waves crashing into the Gap.


2. Sunset at Albany. Taken at Mt Clarence.


3. Went to Porongrup National Park for a hike. I wish we had more time to finish the hike.


4. After the hike, we did the long drive through Stirling National Park. Such a beautiful place.


5. Found many of these yellow flower fields around Mt Barker area.

6. Found this lake with burnt trees off a side road..


7.This is Wilson Head near Denmark. Beautiful scene as the river meets the ocean.


8. Point D'Entrecasteaux near Pemberton. Brillant lookout place for whales.


9. Salmon Beach near Pemberton. One of my favorite place.The sky open up with I took this.


10. Karri Forrest near Cape Naturaliste. I couldnt get my eyes on the road while driving through here.

You should.. It is quite worthwhile to go.. furthermore it is not that expensive and its just 5hours away..

You are very fortunate to catch clear blue skies *envy*. Was gloomy & overcast when I was there. Nice shots btw .

Thanks.. actually I did not have much blue skies either. I was there for 8 days and about 4 days was gloomy and rainy. I spend alot of time waiting for the clouds to clear for some of my shots.... in fact alot of shots I wish I got blue skies but luck was not on my side..

was thinking of Swan and Avon valley for this trip and mayb bunbury --> busselton --> harvey

or up north to Sharks bay...but tts 10 hrs of non-stop driving...

wow.. sharks bay is quite a long drive up north of perth.. I reckon for my next trip to WA, i will explore the north.. a good site to check out the happenings of WA is at its website

my ability is not tt good, but will try to post some pics.

think the north trip will have to wait till the kids are slightly much older.
