Sorry if this sounds amateurish but will leaving either the UV or Skylight filter and attaching the R72 reduce the impact of IR? Thanks.

Nope, there will be no impact at all. But do take note of vignetting at wide angle because stacking of filters. Hope that answers your question. Regards

thanks for the info. guess it will be the uv filter for me, problem is it is hard to find hoya multi coated filter for 28mm size...tried alan, ms, cathay....will then add a step uo from 28 to 52 to try the hoya R72 filter...on my fuji f30. the uv filter will be superglued on to the lens barrel...

Have you tried Ruby? They can order in whatever size you want (if there's such a thing to begin with).
If not, there's always B&H :P http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...ughType=search

http://www.cokin.com/ico7-p4.html?name=#2 You can remove the original glass, cut P007 to fit and mount it into the filter ring. But u have to check compatibility. |
