Sometimes Photo Not Written To CF Card

Owner of EOS 300D.

I've recently had this problem - taken 3 photos, none got written to CD card.

CF card was empty (1GB Kingston).

Recently did a photo shoot - of the 10 shots taken, only 6 were on the CF card.

Anyone ever experience such happenings??

Had a similar problem but not sure is it the same. It told me that the CF card was full but I had transferred all pic to my computer. There is another file inside the CF card but i did not allow me to delete it (in usage). I suspect that the file has some info which tells the camera that CF card is full. End of the day, I have to reformat the CF card.
