Filters... what filters?...
actually that time still a newbie with photography (my virgin shots so dunno anything about filters to enhance.. maybe just the UV protection filter lor...settings I can't really recall but I have always practice with f5.6 so the rest are the timing... 1 - 3 secs I guess Thanks Neko!! ![]() The setup was EOS 500N with Kodak 200 (I think), standard EF 28-80mm

Funny colours aside - shouldn't have used f/5.6.. Smaller aperture would have given those lights in the distance a starburst effect, which would have improved the aesthetics of the picture. You have a tripod anyways, so long exposure no problem. (Unless you handheld for 3 seconds? =D)
Would prefer you go closer to the water - the blackish foreground without details doesn't really work for me in both pictures. I'd prefer #2 to #1 - the silhouettes in #1 blend in with the darkness, making them rather indistinct and possibly unidentifiable. |

You have an interesting way of articulating sun raise in your photo.
