Why ask after you buy the camera? If it is a bad deal, will you feel better? And why compare with F30, you are going to uy one, too? I have both Z3 and F30.
For the sake of all looking at the Z3 and F30, the Z3 results are lousy compared to the F30. But the Z3 is small, cute, sweet, no extending lens, and cheaper. The F30 is more practical. Results of Z3 is good enough for home use, certainly better than many Canon or Nikon or other brands, but only in the super-small-size class. The F30 is a FANTASTIC camera, but nowhere near prosumer cams (like the S9500) or pro cams (like the S3pro). Both cams respond very well, with very slight noticeable shutter lag, which plagues most non-SLR cams. The colours are great - and that's Fuji's strong point. The noise is very low - another Fuji strong point. |

i recently got a z3 w/ a 512mb xd for $430.
so in other words, you're paying $69 for the second 512mb card. note that u can get a brand new one for $50. u decide if it's a good deal. Last edited by schon; 20th October 2006 at 11:18 AM. Reason: oops i rmbed the price wrongly. shoot me. haha. |

Thanks every1 just wondering cos z3 is little heard of and i've seen few reviews bout it. i find the noise much better than the sony t5 the only thing is that it takes a little longer to delete a photo. The tripod mount is also on the cradle so might not be as flexible

Forget about tripod! Bring along a lump of Blue-Tack about 1 inch in diameter and use it to hold the camera to any surface!
Yes, again I say this, the digital noise is so low that other brands are struggling to keep up. For example, at ISO 800, the Z3 images looks better than a much more expensive Canon IXUS at ISO 400. |
