Talking Tripods for 7Hi

Just curious, I am looking for a small (when folded) about 1.65 m when extended, lightweight tripod for a 7Hi with flash ...

any recommendations ?

I do not want to spend more then S$200

Saw the Gitzo ... very nice and light ... but very expensive ...
Saw the Slik Sprint but it is not very sturdy ....
Saw the Manfrotto but find it very bulky.

Any recommendations ?

Where would you recommend to get the Tripod at a good price ?

The Tripod is really nice ... but the centre extension is using gears ? Does that mean that it will be greasy ... when you touch the gears ?

Think u can unscrew and pull up and down if u want. The gears are extra. Not sure if greasy or not. Checked with a Canada site and it probably will cost 200+ to ship in. If got frens living in US, CA, TW JP, or HK maybe can ask them to buy and send over.

I've got the Slik 330DX. Can't remember exact price, but within $200. Works well with the 7Hi!
