Default Going to Angkor Wat or Siem Reap?

Planning a trip to Angkor Wat or Siem Reap?

A lot of people said they used my Itinerary for the trip and I tried to give as much useful info about prices as I could.

Perhaps someone here heading over to Cambodia might find them useful.

Cambodia Day 1 - Leaving on a Jet Plane to Siem Reap
Cambodia Day 2 - Itinerary - Morning in Angkor Thom and Bayon
Cambodia Day 2 - An Afternoon at Angkor Wat & Sunset at Phnom Bahkeng
Cambodia Day 3 - Morning at Banteay Srei, Ta Som, Neak Pean and Preah Khan
Cambodia Day 3 - An Afternoon at Ta Keo, Ta Prohm and Old Market - Siem Reap
Cambodia Day 4 - A Morning at Lolei, Bakong and Preah Ko (Roluos Group)
Cambodia Day 4 - An Afternoon at the Cambodian Land Mine Museum
Cambodia Day 4 - An Afternoon at Tonle Sap (The Great Lake)
Cambodia Day 5 - Leaving Peace of Angkor and Thet

It's not really based around photography as I wasn't too good then

Now I have an SLR I'm planning to go back perhaps next year, will research what's the best time for lilies, sunsets and photo ops!

Hope someone finds the above useful.

    Thanks ShaolinTiger.

For reference, here are some other great sites for Cambodia (and general SEA travel).

    Tales of Asia
    Canby Publications

General tip: if you go to Angkor after 4pm, and buy your ticket, you can go in for sunset and then the ticket will still be valid for the next day, giving you 1 and a half days effectively.
