You have got to be kidding, the Crumpler bags I've seen don't look waterproof to me. Apart from the usual hardcases (eg: Pelican), the only waterproof bag I know of is the lowepro dryzone

Most decent bags should be water resistant to some extent - i.e. it can probably take some drizzle or even rain without water seeping through (provided it's well covered to begin with). Of coz, some perform better than the others.

If you are talking about waterproof as in being able to dunk the thing into water and still have the equipment dry, no.

Material is water resistant, the design isn't (quite obvious there).

no kidding, i brought my digits to the esplanade one day when it was raining quite bad, and the inside didn't even get wet. just as long as you don't go throw the bag in a swimming pool the inside should stay waterproof.

the crumpler bags are certainly very water resistant if you have the cover flap properly in place. I can vouch for that cos I was stuck in the rain for 3-4 hrs durin the world cup in seoul and it was pouring most of the time and the inside didnt even havea drip of water....

    Yeap.

    Quite weather resistant.

My Weenie, with the bunion upzipped, but the cover covered over firmly, is already quite effective.

Unless you want to walk through a thunder storm, otherwise, it's extremely hardy and weather resistant.
