Default Thaipusam - View from Below

Does these work for you?

1st shot is shot without even looking through viewfinder, just held the camera somewhere below the kavadi and press shutter.

Composition ok to me. But the white sky very overpowering... Think Red Dawn's night/early morning colors look better...

Agree with Ckiang, the weather was very erratic......was bright and sunny one moment and drizzling another....my B&W prints came out quite whack also.....

BTW, nice to finally see you in person, Ckiang!

Hi

the weather is only good in the morning, from 6:30 - 10:30. u can get something like this:

While walking to RGB Color at beach road to send the film in around 10 plus, the weather is already changing for the worse.

anyway, yes CK they do work - dramatic wide angle composition. u're making me regret even more i got rid of the 20mm..............

If experimental shots, then ok. But at your standard, I believe if the sky not cooperative, you should know to look for different angles right? (ok ok, enough, this not in critique...ooops)
