The bride's elder brother is not married yet thus have to use the bride's brother pants for the couple to pass through. But he assured it is a new pair of jeans

orrr.... so if the bride's sister not married yet, have to hold the bride's sister skirt?

Hmm.. same here, never seen or even heard of such traditions before leh. Does alot of ppl practise this tradition?

Heard of a similar tradition - if the groom has an older brother who has not married yet, the groom has to crawl through the legs of his elder brother to give the elder brother some respect since the groom is "getting ahead" of his elder brother by marrying before he does.

This doesn't apply to females as they are being married into the guy's family side. And not the guy being married into the female side.

this is a cantnese tradition... when my brother got married before me he had to do the same thing too... whahahahha
