Pentax SMC-M 50mm f1.4

I was clearing out some of my stuff and I found this lens. It must have been lying in the box for about 10+ years.... its full of fungus. No idea where it came from. I am just wondering if it is worth getting it cleaned up. I can then reverse mount it and use it for macro, since I do not have any k-mount cameras. The aperture & focus ring are still smooth. Glass has no scratches on it.

It is most unfortunate that the fungus may have edged itself too far into the glass already in 10+ years.
