Ir photography is for nite or day shoot?

mostly daytime, which IR ray is plenty in sunlight.

for night time, the only source fro IR ray is flash, incandescent bulbs, still able to have IR photography
But fluorescent light have little IR ray, so it is not suitable for IR photography.
