Default The Day He Walked Out On Me

Please kindly give your C&C on my image composition! Heh..my first time posting a picture here!

Taken on a Canon G6, in Barcelona. I hope to bring out the feel/contrast between the guy walking away and how the lady has ever been after that faithful day when she was the bride. I did crop away certain parts of the image which was distracting and did convert it to monochrome in photoshop.

    (1) The motorcycle is distracting
    (2) The alignment of the motorcycle to the head of the mannequin also distracted the overall pic. It gave the impression that the mannequin had a robotic head
    (3) The overall exposure is a little over exposed (bike and old lady's face)
    (4) Lady's face is slightly out of focus

Othewise, the concept/idea is creative and the B&W adds on to it.

Maybe can change the caption to:
    1. Man rides into sunset after dumping 90 year old bride; or
    2. "I'm sorry but I have made a choice between the 2 of you"

I think it's a very strong image. I like it. The blown highlights are mere technicalities and for an image of this dynamic range it's perfectly understandable. Rarely do you get a capture around here that speaks this much
