Been trying out my older Minolta flash gun on the A-100 but each shot is over-exposed.
Is there a setting that I need to configure on the camera or is the flash just not compatible. Anyone care to share? Thanks in advance. |

So far I only know that the Minolta 5600 HS(D) and Minolta 3600 HS(D) are compatible. There might me others that I'm not aware of.

Thanks very much to you all.
This is indeed a warm and friendly site. Great! I am using 3200i. Thanks to mastermind bro (or sis), I can see that some of the functions are still okay while others are not. This means that this flash is as good as a no no for the Alpha. Too bad. ![]() |

Tried using the 5400HS on the A100, same thing, have to set up the camera and flash manually. Haven't really had the chance to fully explore this combination though. My 2 cents worth. ![]() Last edited by osk77; 18th October 2006 at 12:44 PM. |
