$100 different brings in e differences for this 2 model:
which 1 u guys perfer? F30 bring in addition 3200I SO. Z-3 dont have Aperture priority&Shutter priority. But z-3 is more slim for easy keep inside e pocket rather than F30 which is thicker. How ah? |

if you're choosing between this 2 cameras...
i would go for F30, coz it, so far, is one of the best compact cameras going around which brings good shots especially night shots... i, myself, was using F11, F30's elder brother, haha... and it really ROCKs... ever thought of getting F30 and give up my F11 but for that extra few functions and ISO 3200, i gave up the mind of purchasing... but if u're looking for slim and easy to keep... i wouldn't mind u go buy Sony-Ericsson K800i, it fits your every criteria for slim and easy to keep and it provides decent pictures but if you're looking for a compact camera that brings out wonderful photos... than you should be looking at F30... my fair share of pointers... hope you may decide soon |

haha... as i say its base on my personal opinion that i recommend F30 as the so far best compact camera...
anyway, its up to you to make your choice, i also recommend K800i coz you wanted compact, slim and easy to keep mah... what is as good as having a hp together with a cybershot camera in your pocket? haha... it's 3.2MP is quite decent, i've tested and tried on my friend's hp too... you may consider it |

I have the Z3 and the F30. both are good in their own way, and compared to other brands, they give much better results, especially if you print your photos. Technically, the F30 is better, but the Z3 has a slimness that is really cool, too.
To qualify, I also shoot D-SLR commercially sometimes. I will settle for a 2-year-ago Fuji over today's Canon, anytime. |

Hi there,
After, reading all the reviews on F30, I bought it over the weekends for abt S$640, inclusive of GST. Wonder if that's a good deal. Comes with extra batt. screen protector, wide angle lens and 1 gig XD card too. However, i heard that fujifilm camera spoils easily......so i am thinking if i should extend the warranty for another year ??? Anyone has any info on the working life of fujifilm camera ? Also, i have a canon G5 intend to sell it away. Condition still good, i kept it in a dry cabinet. I bought it 3 years ago. Too bulky for me to travel with it. So if you are really keen, do send me an email : jfille@hotmail.com Thanks. Jenabella ![]() |

pain... LOL but about fujifilm camera spoils easily... i so far using my F11 with no issues... "touch-wood" so don't worry bout it... it all depends on the end-users on how they take care of their cameras... but at the end of the day, the quality pictures of F30 will fascinate you and thrill you with regards to kyo, don't 3 'xin' 2 'yi' anymore lah... since u've N73 to provide you not-so-bad photos, why not bank on F30 to provide you with great pictures... welcome to Fuji Jenabella ![]() |

Fuji spoils fast, hmmm... My S602zoom has been around me for 3.75 years, went all over the world (not me though, friends and relatives use my cam), taken 30,000 over shots, used in winter, summer, rain forest, construction site (dust and heat), and even in the rain. Has some problems, but still takes good pictures, until a few days back when the compact flash card slot got loose with some connection problems, but then again, I would have pluged the card in and out about 300+ times by now.
Jenabella, why ask the price now that you have bought the camera, should have asked before. And yes, rather expensive you got it. |

fuji is pretty reliable i'd say. i had a finepix 2400z which lasted a long time despite lots of abuse. my dad-in-law has a f401 which is still going strong. my F10 has travelled around several continents with no ill effects and is still working 100%.

so obviously the so called "fuji camera" spoils easily is really just an isolated case which happens to just about every single brand i can think of ??.... unless someone wanna prove me wrong ??.. But i have been using the F30 for almost half a year liao, and brought it with me almost everywhere i go, seems fine leh .. maybe its just the way i handle it bah ...

z3 vs f30.
a matter of trading form for funtionality. here's a comparison between the z3 and the f20, which is very similar to the f30.

I will go for either F20 or F30 over Z3 and never look back. Like what schon said, its basically a trade-off between design and performance. I will go for performance..
