that's diagonally across from my office too!!! are you sure this picture is real? thought there was a strict no fly zone over the CBD. and wouldn't the sound and heat from the jet blow out all the windows of the surrounding buildings (including mine)???

Ya! There is a no fly zone there. The only thing that flies around there is the StarHub Airship!

Anyway, me on leave today... so didnt feel the airplane zooming around!

S'pore couldn't have JSFs and the RSAF wouldn't be stupid enough to fly THAT LOW in a no-fly zone. Conclusion: toy model plane.

Singapore is one of the priviledged partners in the JSF program, I wouldn't discount the possibility of its purchase upon the completion of the project.

JSF (Joint Strike Fighter) is made by EUROPE consortioum, or called Eurofighter.
The plane is F22 Raptor fighter (F16 Falcon successor) still in the development stage in USA, I don't think it will appears in outside USA for 5~10 years from now on.
Try to use F14 or F16 model that it will look more convincing.

I don't think that's also remote control model, since no miniature of jet engine. All remote areoplanes are using propeller powered by mini piston engine or DC motor.
I think the "plane" is a model that sold by small stall in the shopping center.
The F22 Raptor is already in production and if I'm not wrong was meant to replace the F15E strike eagle as strike fighter.

The F16 is a multirole fighter and is much less costly.

The Eurofighter Typhoon is another plane altogether.

The JSF refers to the XF-35.

    Sorry my knowledge bit obselete.....thx!!!
JSF is a joint project between Navy and Air Force
F15E is used by Navy and F16 is more on Air Force.
The latest news I read F22 Raptor is still not delivered to US Navy yet. I think now the F22 that had been produced is single seat version.

That is a remote controlled model, I saw the propeller in the tail section sorry forjump into conclusion too fast!!!

Wah! Knighthunter, ur info is really dated and inaccurate....
F-15E is used by the USAF. So is the F-16.
F-22 Raptor is also for the USAF; not US Navy.
US Navy has opted for the F-18E Super Hornet yet since the A-12 program was cancelled.
