    Default Skylight filter

Does a skylight filter (1A) add a very strong warm cast to pictures? I am thinking of using one for macro photography but I'm wondering if it will change the colour cast significantly, especially of bluish subjects. Anyone have any sample pics can share?

In the age of dSLR you no need to worry about it. Use Manual White Balance. Put UV filter as a protection for front element of lens.
