Experience Thaipusam - The Procession
Hi
Before devotees leave the temple, someone will hurl down a coconut with a lighted candle on top of it onto the ground, splitting the coconut into many pieces. Then the entourage would leave. I'm not sure wat's the reason behind this ritua, but one thing i know for sure - i wun stand near them next time.... Throwing coconut  Breaking the coconut and off we go! Early morning procession  All these at 6:30 am in the morning! *yawn*  |

even devotees have to wait for traffic lights  Waiting  Moving on  Song and Dance  Lots of encouragement and support everywhere....  |
