Default My Plain Tiger Series

Finally managed to shoot some Plain tigers at AH. First time shooting plain tiger. All comments are appreciated. Thank you.

nice butterfly you have.........


i just started insect photography last month......so fast
not much luck on butterfly.....most of my shots are dragonflies.
is BG better of AH better for butterfly shoot-out?
tot of going today but rain, rain and rain non stop.

TKs for the comments, guys. I think I need to work harder next time round looking at the standard of plain tiger shots in this forum.
Deego I dun think I used any flash for all the shots. Even if there is, only from my internal flash. I do not have an external flash at the moment.

Nice shots. I like 2nd shot most. The other two shots background abit distracting? Especially so for the 3rd pic. Might do better with a tighter crop. What do you think?

Tks for your comments. It is dififcult to get a good backgpund all the time because the butterfly can land in very awkward and less photogenic places(which happens most of the time) . I feel that a tighter crop for the third shot will not do much in eliminating the distracting background. Also it might be too cramp for the subject. I am leaving some space to the left as the butterfly was facing that direction.
