It was a normal daylight shot with my Nikon D2x plus the Nikkor 17-55mm lens (handheld) But because I shooted against the sun I had to superimpose 2 images in photoshop to get one correct exposed.

After that I did some photoshop corrections and here we are.... looks like a painting, right?
I like it.

Do you mean to say that you shot in 2 different exposures, sort of like HDR?

Initially I thought it was a one shot thing, with selective inversing using photoshop.
