hmm...strange green/green casts. and some pics a little blurred yah?

most pics a little too cluttered, but the 5th pic's interesting..perhaps zooming in more to focus on his expression would be better?

cheeers.

Default What shutter speed?

Can I ask what shutter speed you were using for the shot?

Set fast shutter speed, dun get movement.

Set slow shutter speed, everything becomes blur.....Plus on the day, there was so many people and crowd....always get someone walking in front of the camera while shooting

Enlighten pls? Thanks

I used shutter speeds between 1/60 - 1/1000.... those presented are the better pics and i deleted the rest away....

There is always 'space' around in crowds....but its the best to shoot above the head..... like i did for many of my shoots

I just read in some books...that the blue cast caused by the sun shining at an acuted angle... in the evenings..... - presence of ultra-violet light

.... and i took my shots around 5-6pm that day.....

a 81A warm filter or polariser could fix that... but i didnt own any... maybe i shld get one soon....

I got this from www.swastika.com/india.html

A key to the underlying meaning of the swastika is to be found in Ganesha, the elephant-headed, child-god of Hinduism, whose primary symbol is that of the swastika. He is also called Ganapati, which - along with the name Ganesha - means 'Lord of the Tribe'.
- -
For millions of Indians, Ganesha is the most important god in the Hindu pantheon, because it is through him that devotees offer their prayers to the other deities of their spiritual universe. Ganesha is considered to be nothing less than the doorway to the divine and he is the god that is prayed to at the start of any religious ritual or ceremony, or for that matter at the start of any new enterprise, such as marriage or the beginning of a journey. Being Ganesha's primary symbol, the swastika is thus regarded as the interconnecting point between two realms of being: the outer, mundane world of daily reality, and the inner, timeless realm of soul, myth and magic.

ah, tht's sth informative for me. Now i know.
