    Question Lamination spray

Hello guys, I'm new here, and have just started browsing the forum.

I'm wondering if anybody have seen something called lamination spray? It's a chemical spray that bonds printer ink and paper together, to make it waterproof, or at least, water resistant...

I know that there are waterproof papers on sale, but I'm working on some greeting cards on some 220gsm paper. I'm hoping to kinda waterproof these prints.

I use an Epson Stylus R230 Photo printer.

My last resort would just to get a Scotch Gard Outdoor Water Repellent spray.

    Hahahaha. :P

Look for fixative or fixing spray for the arts & crafts store.

'Sup guys. Went down to Art Friend at Brash Basah Complex today, and got my fixative spray.

The only available fixative sprays there didn't offer water-resistance, and that's a key feature I wanted. I got something else, Krylon's UV-Resistant, Clear Acrylic Coating, which although not advertised as one, is also a fixative spray. Haha.

    Thanks both Scaglietti and bigg.

    xiaowugui82, I'm not 100% on this, but I don't think there's any problem hot laminating a photograph.

the are two type of hot lam, one is using laminating pouch, which is mean for documents like cert, another type is film type, mainly on photos, it will have a unique texture, canvas lamination also consider hot lam, this type is more ex then cold lam, not a lot of places offer this service.
