    Default Concrete Flowers



    Hi all took this shot while visiting the Biennale around town.
    Do let me know on how i can improve. Thanks!

    Lumix DMZ-Fz50
    Shutter: 1/125
    Aperture: F8.0
    ISO:100
    AutoWB

    this angle does not work for me. though there's the intention to explain the environment through the inclusion of the door, the way it's placed in the frame does not contribute to the main subject. it's like 'the door is there because it is there' and has nothing to do with the artwork. i am sure the relationship between the artwork and the environment has much more content than what is shown here.

    Hi, thanks for the comments. Hmmm.. maybe this picture doesnt say what the whole artwork is about. I'll post another pic to explain the whole artwork further then.
    Erm.. could you share which angle would be better to capture the art then? Wanna learn, so would take note the next time round.

    maybe you can push the contrast a bit it may bring out the blue better

    i noticed that the blue paint is washing down onto the floor... mayb try taking it downwards showing the dripping colour staining the ground.... Tat will b another story....

    ....the window is distracting...esp the louvers showing abit of e interior...

    That protruding black thing is ruining the image, IMO.

    no i can't share another angle, i've not been to the location so i can only tell you whether your shot tells me anything. however, base on this shot, for a start i can recommend that you shoot this straight from the front, probably the simplest and most effective way to convey this piece of art.
