Hi All,

I might upgrade my aging digital videocam soon. Any suggestions on which one to get? I care more about the video quality, easy of use (better use DVD or SD/CF cards or HDD), built quality and size/weight. Don't really care about the still image quality. I'd use the video camera for kids and family mostly, so indoor performance is very important.

Currently I'm looking at these ones:

1. Panasonic VDR-D300 (DVD disc)
2. Panasonic SDR-S300 (SD card)
3. Sony DCR-DVD 405 or 505 (DVD)

I'm not limited to these two brands though. If you've any suggestions or experiences w/ some newer models, please post here. And your input will be very appreciated.

Thanks and cheers,
