Hmmm... which part of Selatar Area did you go?

Anyway, just wanted to say something here if you don't mind:
Pic 1:
Loved the way you managed to capture the Heron spreading its wings while it was kind of "tip-toeing". Its a real pity that it wasn't facing your direction and part of its wing tips were cropped off.

Pic 2:
A victim of distracting vegetation (not that they are still green ).. I couldn't help but wonder if it were possible to shoot this at a lower angle to minimise the way the branches were "merging" with the Heron.

maybe not that quite possible - angle was probably shooting downwards. But can try waiting for the heron to walk a little further out so that the vegetation is out of the frame.. ( am just speculating...)

- It is at Seletar Dam area (closer to Airbase side) facing the sea.
- Yes it's a pity the wing's are cropped, ironically it came "too close" and no time to take out the 2xTC or change lens to the 300mm..
- Agreed the vegetation was irritating, I was waiting for the tide to go down and for it to walk away but probably impatience. Also cannot get lower cos me and equipment will be salty and wet

Yeap I think you know where's the location. I should consider the TC14E but already broke. From the proceeds of sale of the Tamron lens to you I can only afford to buy a dry cabinet

Thanks for all your comments and Cheers
