Default Testing of an old S-M-C Takumar 85/1.8 (4x imgs)

Got this lens for a while, but never got chance to use it yet (one of the LE lenese is mounted on my Ds most time ). Anyway, here are some snaps from today of my lovely daughter by this old screw mount lens:

All shots in jpg handheld w/ minor PPing. I really like the skin tone produced by this lens, far better than the A*85/1.4 (which I tested for a while before passed to another friend).

Hope you like them.

Cheers,

very nice sharp pictures. Lens definitely top class despite the age.

Thanks The lens is definitely the top class in my collection, very well built, sharp w/ nice Pentax color, smooth handling, way better than those LE lenses in some way

Here is one more from Saturday at F2:

The full or bigger size version looks alot better.

Cheers,

amazing...is it the lighting? Why does your pictures' colours always look so rich? maybe its because the model is sooooo cute?
Do you have a technique on the lighting? i.e. always at the window with light shining in?

cheers!

Thanks. Glad you like them. These were shot in jpg w/o flash, I guess the lens and camera combination did pretty good job there. Of course she's really cute little model
