I just came back from my holiday to London-Paris-Calais-Birmingham, and it was the first time I used my 40-150mm lens. The results were quite stunning.
25% of a 40mmx2 pic ![]() 100% of a 150mmx2 pic(same view) ![]() I was happy ![]()

thanks
I use a 14 to 45mm lens for that photo, I just stichted them up and photoshopped the thing. I use the sharpen tool. ![]() I own the 14 to 45 and a 45 to 150mm lens, so all the pics above were taken by either one. No filters for any.

.. breathtaking shots. I especially liked the b&w moon-over-the-city and the upside-down shot (from the Eiffel Tower?). I have also gained new respect for my 14-45mm... |

yeah, you must have noticed that I like to desaturate my photos, because I like the effect of b/w (dunno why), yet I find that we should embrace the technology that allows for the production of full colour. and the final effect is something that I really really like, this wierd niether here nor there feeling. hehe
balance... Mmmmmmmmm

Simply beautiful!!!
I was so floored when those images projected right before my eyes. Were they taken with your cam on a tripod or simply point and shoot? Very inspiring photos. BTW, would you be able to send me a higher resolution of that Paris shot? Would love to have that on my desktop! Sure would love to learn a thing or 2 from you in the near future Cliffy! |
