erm... a kudu IS a kind of antelope... So he's actually not wrong in calling it an antelope.

Anyway, pls do take as many photos of this guy at the Singapore Zoo as he's the last one left. This species is being phased out of the zoo's collection, so once this guy snuffs it, there will be no more kudus at the zoo.

er... so kudu is a kind of antilope, so is antilope a kind of deer? than is deer a kind of goat? or goat is a kind of deer?

if i shoot this type of animal next time, not knowing the correct name, is it better to put "deer" as tittle?

thanks.

but where zoo want to phase out kudu? they have quite a no. of "deer" (those "horn" thats big, spiral only 1 loop i think who love banging heads) show case near the main entrance.

err.. antelopes are not deer, deer are not goats... got difference. Next time just put "hoofed animal"

The "deer" with the big horns you mentioned are barbary sheep. They have been moved away, to an off-exhibit area. In their place now are wild goats called gorals. Not sure about the future plan for the barbary sheep.
