That's so beautiful.
However, I see some "Nikon" in them. Hope Pentax not losing their own style.

Style is not a concern, it's the price that worries me ........ Nikon Styling may mean Nikon Pricing

They co-developed these lenses. But each have its own features. Pentax ones got special built-in supersonic motor (SSM) inside for faster AF. Don't think the Tamron ones have them

Here is a bigger pic of these lenses:

Seems no tripod collars for the two tele zooms

My goodness those lenses are what'd I'd kill for. 16-130 f/2.8 constant. Makes me want to jump over from Minolta.
I wish Pentax all the best in the upcoming year. K10D + all these lenses makes it a formidable system.

Cheers

Actually I like the tokina one better, it got the tripod collar there. Even the Pentax 60-250/4 doesn't come with one Maybe Pentax is over confident with their in-body SR

Cheers,

I already sold my whole Canon system and considering Nikon, but the Pentax stuff is making things more tempting for me... K10D, affordable DA* fast zooms... Yummy!

I wonder whats the f-stop for the DA17-70. Seems like a good usable range. Sometimes shooting with the 18-55 at tele end falls a bit too short.

Most likely it'd be an F3.5-5.6 model just like the kit lens. Pentax want to sell more of the DA16-50/2.8 and the 16-45/4

Any prices announced for these new babies? If they are reasonably priced I might sweep all 3 at one go!

No need to wow, I'm not rich one, just that I sold my whole Canon arsenal recently, and been saving up to get a new system. It was supposed to be a Nikon D80 until I saw the Pentax K10D. The 3 lenses also fit PERFECTLY into what I had in mind for lenses, plus I'm not the type who like to buy 5-6 lenses.

Buy once, and settle down with all of them!
