Default Sony Service Feedback

Hi, just wanted to check who among you have dealt with the Sony Service already - i.e. getting your KM or Sony fixed. Feedback pls.

Thanks!

Hi

Sent my 5D to Wisma for repairs to the CF latch a few months back. Nothing much as both visits are pretty routine.

Thing is a week later when they called me to say the cam is ready for pick up, they gave me a fright by saying it costs $100+ when it should have been on warranty!

Should dSLR be sent for servicing once every month or two, and since it's still under warranty?
My a100 is 3 weeks old.
Please advise.

recently, seen some feedback on services on different brands
Canon Service Center
Expensive Equipment, Unprofessional Service

I think Sony Service Centre consider quite good/convenient compare to KM last time, which open at weekend and don't need to take half day leave just to sent the item for service. Went there a few times already, so far the service are ok .
