Seems like a promising camera, especially its light weight. How does it compared to NikonD80, Pentax 10D and canon 400D

read on dpreview that it will be on sale in Europe first in Nov.

Then the rest of the world will get it. America will be having it in Jan 2007.

As for singapore, should be around the same time bah!

Latest news is that E-400 will be revised when released in Asia and NA. More info will only be out in PMA2007

Yes, apparently, the E-400 is released only in Europe for it to be a 'test run'. The revised E-400 is rumoured to have Live View and CCD-Shift image stabilisation found in the Mju750.

The first rumour is most likely true as there are quite a no. of pre-production E-400 with a Live View button just like the E-330. As for the 2nd one, go read the recent Olympus interview translated over at DP Review forum.
