Change color to b&w

Hi, can any bro/sis here teach me how to make a photo only certain part is in color where the rest is black/white.

eg. to enhance a couple in the photo in color & all other is in black & white.

I'm using photoshop 7.

lasso or magic brush to select only the subject you want then u select inverse, or u select those that u dun wan.

then once selected go to change color to greyscale, dun have to go extend of black & white...
