my first time in bali, but i had such a great time with the couple. we took time to get alittle lost, have alittle fun.

Thanks guys, I try to keep shoots simple. Locations might be nice or a plus point but i prefer to focus more on the couple being themselves.

visualise urself going to a wedding dinner of a couple u dun really know, flip thru their albums, u see nice locations, beautiful skies but it tells you nothing about them. so focusing more on the couple and their lifestyle would allow people/friends/guest to know them in another level.

don't get me wrong, every one wants nice photos to look at, it could be like "why didnt u ask them to wear their gowns at this and this location?" i tend to allow them to be more themselves, leave them alone alot and capture them doing their own thing. keyword here is comfortability.

Thanks for sharing eadwine. Assuming the couple are not our friends (as in, we know them beforehand), how do u learn so quickly about their lifestyles? Any tricks to 'ease' them as u "allow them to be themselves"?

hmm.. it takes prob 1 coffee session?? get to know them and let them know you. business will still be business but making people comfortable is another. be yourself really.

sure, why would i wanna hide how many people were involved. its basically err me, the bride and the groom...and a whole bunch of tourist watching.
