Is there any real difference between 380EX and 430EX? Should I upgrade?

If u really want to upgrade, go ahead but if 380EX is enough for general usage, then keep it.

The bounce/swivel functions of the 430ex are definately worth the jump. If you area really on abudget get a 420ex. Eitehr that or get a 580ex

420ex can also act as a slave flash.
The manual control is definitely worth the upgrade..... But, I'd rather get a second hand 550ex for the prce of a 430ex....personal preference ![]() |

if you are willing to get 2nd hand products, get the 550EX. or else just get the 430EX.
