Best Place to get S9500/S9600?

Hiz, i am looking for the above two cameras.......1st hand in shops or 2nd hand in forums.
for shops where will u guys recommand and wat is the market price for the 1st hand and 2nd hand. Thanks in Advance wor~

For S9500 not many shops are selling as Fuji has announced the S9600. Have asked MS a few wks back they quote me 800++ (for S9500) & they dun have stock. U wan can order from them.
Btw S9600 is not release yet. Maybe (my guess) in Oct/Nov & Fuji will release the S6500fd first.

Just bought my S9500 a week ago from gapman for $700. He included quite a number of stuff and the S9500 still have 6+months left. Quite a good offer. Hope u'll find yours soon.

Hey bro,

I had to acquire either 9500/9600 or the 6500fd and I was told by AP that there was no warranty. Is it true? Where else to acquire such?

u can try the shops in sim lim. i was there 2 weeks ago and saw one or two shops still has stock. but the problem is this camera is becoming very rare and yet very good for its price, which is why the price never drop much.

there's no market price in sim lim. you can get a shop quoting you 1000+ while another quote you 900+. i hate to shop there cos sometimes i also dont know the market rate, but sometime really no choice.

alternatively, you can check out the best denki at plaza sing. not all best denki have, but plaza sing use to have stock (i read this thread a day too late. i was there yesterday)

Any one here bought the just-launched S9600 at any of the local shops already?

Called up MS Color, they are offering it for $899 with free 1GB card, Lowepro camera bag, AA rechargable battery kit and a sure-win lucky dip.

Is this a good deal?
