saturate teh colours a little?
recrop so that the pipefish is diagonally across the frame?

What happened to the tail? IMHO the tail is a very important part of the Ornate Ghost Pipefish, so if you are going to include 3/4 of the fish, the tail should be included. Unless you are doing a close-up on the head alone, then of course you can leave the rest of the fish out.

u have a point....it has been "chopped" rather indiscrimanately....would be more complete with it...

Did you manage to shoot off a couple more frames which included the tail?

Always admire photographers who can get such close photo of these small creatures.

But the rotation of the photo seems to lose some sharpness comparing photo1 and 2. Is there any way to minimise or eliminate such conversion lost?
