Default Shooting @ Sun (DO NOT TRY THIS YOURSELF!)

First attempt at shooting the sun, with EOS D30 and BlueStrike's 500mm f8 mirror lens (Thanks!)

Extreme caution has to be taken when photographing and observing the sun because one mistake in the process can lead to permanent blindness For this reason alone I do NOT recommend direct solar photography to the novice photographer or novice amateur astronomer.

a special solar filter was used and these were taken near sun set (around 6.30pm) and it was thru the windows from my office, therefore they aren't really sharp....next try will be outdoor shooting with a proper telescope during noon

All colour channel

blue channel only

blue + green channels convert to grey scale
