Cool Canon 30D or Nikon D80

I am thinking of upgrading from my Olympus E300 to either Nikon D80 or Canon 30D. Can anyone who have experience with this two cameras advice which one is better interms of camera user-friendliness, after sales service, accessories price, picture quality and image processor etc. Thanks.

Have you invested in Olympus's lenses, flash etc? If not then you can take a look at Dpreview and compare both cams.

I take Nikon because $$$ have been dumped into it and don't think it will worth it if I change system now.

You might want to wait till after the E400 before making your decision to change systems.

Why do you feel the need to change?

Thanks for your reply. E-400 is there about the same body build as E-300, other that the shape has changed a bit. Buttom and control should be about the same. Hence, I am going ahead to change my whole entire system to either Canon or Nikon even though I have invested quiet a fair bit of $$$ to Olympus system. Olympus is a good cam, but cannot meet my expectation.

And what are your expectations that the Oly system cannot meet?
Not trying to put you on the spot here, but perhaps if you tell us, we might be able to tell you if your expectations will be met with the Canon and Nikon systems or not (thus saving you the hassle and money in changing systems).
