1) Well i took a pix using the largest APERature 2.8 cos i amtaking oudoor half body sjot ......turns out the subject also become very soft.(to the extent of blurry), i realise the problem stops when i push the f-stop to much higher say 8.0 and above.
2) Will such properties happen on canon L-lens....with --mm 2.8f ? |

Might be wrong focus point.. handshake blur or not enough distance? Please post pics with exif info..

Maybe can post pic to show example?
f2.8 DOF is quite shallow, need to be more acurate at the focusing point. Or maybe can check for things like back focusing? |
