Default just got a Tokina Aspherical 2.8 28~80mm

1) Well i took a pix using the largest APERature 2.8 cos i amtaking oudoor half body sjot ......turns out the subject also become very soft.(to the extent of blurry), i realise the problem stops when i push the f-stop to much higher say 8.0 and above.

2) Will such properties happen on canon L-lens....with --mm 2.8f ?

Maybe can post pic to show example?

f2.8 DOF is quite shallow, need to be more acurate at the focusing point.

Or maybe can check for things like back focusing?
