This you should discuss with the Baader Planetarium Regit. I know now that this filter leak above 900nm, but if nobody helps to to get the Schott BG-40 filter it will be little bit difficult for me to do it and a better way. The exposure times are real long so I´ll guess that its about 60 to 70% IR and the rest is UV-A radiation. It must be in this way because this filter lets absolut no visible light pass. And because there is no color from above 900nm it must me from Ultraviolett.
Can you get this filter for me regit? I really appreciate if somebody would help me to locate this filter for me. (if possible 2mm thick) Best regards Wolfgang Last edited by Wolfgang Steiner; 15th September 2006 at 07:50 PM. |

Different focal length do different things to the perspectives of landscapes. Sometimes, if you do not wish to emphasise the foreground but would like to compress a scene, you'll have no choice but to use a telephoto. Here're a couple taken at 300mm effective (200mm actual)... So, it may be worth the try to frame with a 63 or 105 instead... ![]() ![]() |
